WATERWAY UNDER CAPELLO WAY ON STONE CANYON CLEANED

With the persistence and advocacy of the Bel-Air Association, we were able to get Public Works, Bureau of Sanitation to clean and restore a long neglected culvert that runs under Capello Way in Stone Canyon.  Over the years the culvert had become over 90% clogged creating serious draining challenges during the rainy season.  The abutting homeowner and BAA member asked for our help as previous requests into the City were going unanswered.  We elevated the request and eventually reached the appropriate City contacts to help resolve the issue and clean out the culvert in the public right of way.
